TLS is not supported by MSS.Click Change Configuration.On the Snare web interface, click Apply the latest Audit Configuration and then click the Reload Settings button.Configuring Lasso Agent to Send Syslog MessagesTo configure the Lasso agent to send syslog messages:.On the Lasso host computer, go to the Lasso installation directory.In the Lasso.ini file, edit the following line: LogAppliance, IPAddress, PortNumber, udp.LogAppliance: Reserved keyword and is the first parameter.IPAddress: IP address of the LCP.PortNumber: Port number used for syslog communication. The preferred port is 514.UDP: Protocol used for syslog communication.Note: If UDP is removed from the logging configuration code in the Lasso.ini file, the logs will be sent via TCP. The default port for TCP is 601.Examples:.If the LCP's IP address is 192.0.2.1 and the syslog port is 514, then the Lasso.ini file is edited as follows: LogAppliance, 192.0.2.1, 514, udp.If the LCP's IP address is 192.0.2.1, the syslog port is 601, and the protocol is TCP, then the Lasso.ini file is edited as follows: LogAppliance, 192.0.2.1, 601.Save and close the Lasso.ini configuration file.Restart the Lasso service.Configuring BalaBit Agent to Send Syslog MessagesNote: The BalaBit agent is available as syslog-ng OpenSource and syslog-ng Premium editions.
