There is a Prince 7″ which may be of interest to your readersOrdering is only available for 7 days, then it’s ‘made to order’ to be shipped in January 2020.“In honor of the 40th anniversary of Prince’s second album, Prince—which was released on October 19, 1979—The Prince Estate and Warner Records are pleased to announce the surprise release of a previously unheard, solo acoustic demo recording of the Grammy-winning Prince track “I Feel for You,” available on streaming services and as a limited-run 7” vinyl single.”. We’ve seen a trend recently where archival CD releases are subject to lengthy (sometimes repated) postponements, even after the album has been released as a download, or leaked onto an illegal site.

The labels are doing themselves no favours.Examples of this include “John Lodge-B’Yond: The Very Best of”(BMG), “Nektar-Live Anthology”(Cleopatra), “Procol Harum-Broken Barricades”(3-CD edition)(Esoteric) and “The Yardbirds-Live at The BBC Revisited” (3-CD edition)(Repertoire). In the case of the John Lodge & Procol Harum, when a second 6-week postponement was announced, I cancelled my preorder and went to a free site, rather than continue waiting and waiting. In the case of The Yardbirds set, when I originally saw it on a free download site, I assumed that it was a bootleg, since Repertoire had recently(Last Autumn) released two incarnations of their 2-CD Yardbirds “Live at The BBC” collection.

It was never apparent that “Live at The BBC Revisited” was an official release or that a CD version would someday be released. If the CD editions of the Nektar & Yardbirds compilations are eventually released, the CD editions seem like an afterthought. Clearly, we’re going to see more of these weird release strategies from the labels. Paul,Don’t know if it is worth you highlighting this post. I had pre-ordered the signed Debbie Harry book with Waterstones but when I chased it up last week my local pick up store in Glasgow could find no trace of my order. I spoke to Customer Services who initially told me the book had sold out and that there had been an IT problem with my order going through the system.

They then told me that they had found a supply of the signed book in their warehouse (and delivered mine to Glasgow) so it may be worth a phone call by any of my fellow posters to see if they would release a copy. Phone number is 7. Japanese Bluespec 2 mini LP CD Japanese release of ELO’s 35th aniversary of Secret Messages coming at the end of November. No track details on CDJapan yet, but it states that it is the first time on CD, so looking good.In other Japanese CD news, the recent Elton John remastered SHM mini-LPs that finally came out in August, after being cancelled last year are truly amazing. No compression in sight.

They are the studio albums from Empty Sky through to Blue Moves and also include the British 70’s Greatest Hits albums. Highly recommended and looks like they are selling quickly. Even on Hoffman, the reviews are mainly positive. Every Christmastime we see a “Copyright Extension” set(or sets) from Motown in its’ “Motown Unreleased” series.

These releases are typically MP3 or 44.1Khz/16-bit FLAC download releases (though “1966” was released as a limited edition 4-CD mail order edition). Recently, “1969”, a 60-song collection appeared, apparently leaked onto the internet. It is offered as High Resolution 96 Khz/24-bit, a format that has never before been supported in the “Motown Unreleased” series. If that download doesn’t have (originally) legitimate origins (in some territory) it is likely Universal will soon move up the official release date.

Britain’s Dutton-Vocalion label mines the Sony Music vaults for more 4.0 Quadraphonic mixes for release on SACD.

The latest releases include 2 “Two-fers” by the Canadian group “The Guess Who” (“American Woman”/”Share The Land” & “The Best of The Guess Who Vol.2” / “Rockin”), an album by Japanese symthesizer artist Tomita (“Firebird”) and a Two-fer by Paul Revere & The Raiders (“Indian Reservation”/”Hard & Heavy With Marshmallow”). While the Quadraphonic mix of “Indian Reservation” was released in the 1970’s, The Quadraphonic mix of “Hard & Heavy with Marshmallow” went unreleased until now. 9 of the 11 songs were mixed for Quadraphonic as far back as February 1969 (Before there was even a quadraphonic tape or vinyl format to release the mixes on), but this 1960’s mixdown effort (likely experimental) was abandoned two songs short of complete. Luckily, the multitrack tapes still exist, and Sony Music engineer Mark Wilder mixed the remaining two songs for Quadraphonic in 2019. Davy Jones Live In Japan is a comprehensive collection of both of Davy’s officially released and long out of print ‘Live in Japan’ albums, along with several singles and rarities released in the early 80s. The 2CD + DVD set features Davy’s two original Japanese album releases, including 22 bonus tracks consisting of alternate mixes and original Japanese single releases.

All recordings have been digitally remastered for optimum sound quality and have never sounded better. The set comes with a comprehensive 24 page colour booklet, including. I would think it is an attempt to protect the sales potential of the “Abbey Road” 50th anniversary boxed set. We will recall that Paul McCartney’s original reason for vetoing the Beatles outtakes album “Sessions” was to protect the sales potential of his album “Give My Regards to Broadstreet”. Fortunately, The Beatles “Anthology” series contained everything from “Sessions”, and, in some instances, in better mixes. As for the lack of George Harrison archival releases, it is because Dhani Harrision wants to focus on his own musical career, and not be known merely as the compiler of his father’s music, yet Olivia Harrison seems reluctant to let anyone other than Dhani compile George’s music.

Glaze. 1 cup confectioner's sugar. reserved pineapple juiceInstructions. Set oven to 350F.

Cream the butter and the sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer, or do it with electric beaters. AKrem August 21, 2019 at 5:44 pmI doubled the recipe right away & I’m everyone was happy that I did. I also added coarsely chopped walnuts an extra egg & extra bananas ( because I had a surplus). Before cooking I sprinkled a topping of coconut, walnuts & sugar that I chopped together. Normally I love heavy glaze but I only had about a cup of powdered sugar leftso thin glaze it is.?My son said Mom this is soooo good as he’s eating his 2nd piece. You can taste all the different flavors.high praise from a 12 yr old. Alecia Lott September 10, 2015 at 6:58 pmSue, I’m kinda late to the party butYum!!

This is my new favorite banana bread, I love the tropical flavors and wish I had some Kona coffee to go with it.:) I was skeptical at first about the poppy seeds but the crunch is perfect, and unlike many other banana breads it’s not overwhelmingly mushy and banana-y. Now don’t hate me but I did some things differently: I’m a vegan so I used 1/2 cup of coconut oil instead of the butter, and subbed powdered egg replacer for the eggs. I added 1 tsp. Vanilla, becausejust because vanilla is never a bad idea! I dislike shredded coconut (the texture, ugh) so left that out, but the coconut oil was unrefined so it gave just a hint of the flavor. And I forgot to make the glaze!! It was excellent without it, though.

Cherry Lisa Shaw Rar Extractor 2017

Great breakfast bread that my husband and I devoured. Lisa Shaw June 6, 2015 at 8:30 amFirstI LOVE your site and your recipes The recipes are always full of such amazing flavor! This is in the oven as I type and smells AMAZING!! I made a few switches to make it a “bit” healthier or so I convinced myself its healthier! I used 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour, cut the sugar in half and used coconut sugar instead of cane sugar and doubled up on the bananas for some sweetness.

I’m gonna try the cream cheese and pineapple like someone suggested! I can’t wait to taste it!!!

Lisa Shaw Cherry

Thanks for this yummy recipe!!.
